The little crafter show: How to upload an image using the cricut app.

So first off would love to wish you all from my family to yours a happy new year. May you all have a happy, bright and safe 2018. I am beyond grateful for all the love and support that you have shown me. Thank you so much.

I could not have done this podcast thing and YouTube stuff without the love, understanding and support of David my amazing husband. Thank you, my love. My friends and family, you guys are amazing. Lisa, you simply ROCK. David and Lisa both did not laugh or call me crazy when I said I want to me a You tuber, I want to make you tube my job.

It has not been easy, fun at times and a lot of work but to me it is all worth and a dream that is all coming true so thanks for your views. I cannot thank you all enough.

If you haven’t heard already the cricut app has a new button. We can now upload images using our cricut app. The only type of image that we cannot load for now is SVG files but with any luck that will becoming soon.

So, I just simple looked for free image that I wanted to cut, draw or even print and cut. Took a photo of the image, cropped it and then uploaded to the app. You could skip the crop step with you wanted because you can crop the image using the app.

Mermaid vibes

I placed an order for a few new polishes that I just fell in love. I mainly really wanted to stamp and see how the shade named 9ml Green Duochrome Nail Stamping Polish Chameleon Lacquer Nail Art Plate Printing 001 from beauty big bang.  I can say that as a nail base color, applies well, and has fantastic color pay off.  Stamping so far I have to do some testing because I did a swap sticker to the bottles and the doesn't seem to show so well.

So the bottles on stamping polish came, and I was so excited. The colors both looking beautiful in the bottles.  Since I had some swap stickers that I bought from Maniology to, place them on the and stamped out the with a lace image. The swap me stickers are black and white. This is supposed to help with you see how a stamping polish will look on a light or dark color nail. I think this is a great idea wished more companies would add them.

I used a base coat on my nails. I think that I could have just painted my nails with one coat,…

Spring time Mani

I have been somewhat inspired by the season to create a mani from the spring equinox sky which I found on google.  The image is of the night sky with stars swirling around in night sky. The colors look like to navy, purple, white and orange.
I tried a couple of different ways to all the colors, but I could make it work. I finally settled on adding a light blue since I was trying to turn this into a spring mani. A lot of the items that I used are from Maniology. So let's get into steps again I sorry no video for this post and few photos.

1)  You want to start with clean nails and then add a base coat. I used Maniology base coat, or sometimes I use  Sally Hansen quick dry base and top coat.

2) For some of the nails, I painted them with two coats of  Celestial  I wait for a bit and added Maniology speedy dry top coat.
The other nails I stamped …
