The little crafter show: Mix media Monday.

Crazy last week and the start of this one isn't getting less crazier. I talk  all about it in last weeks podcast. So let us talk about what is going on the little crafter show. Since the we have had some plumbing issues, working on making a  new journal was what I came up with. It will only be couple of days until the first journal for mix media Monday is done so this was perfect timing  if you ask me.
It is very simple journal using supplies that already & I recycled a box for this project. You could make this project in so many different ways and use so many different supplies, The ideas are endless. I hope that you enjoys todays post. If you have any comments, questions please leave them down below or you can email me at Eileen@eileenthelittlecrafter. Thank you for stopping by & bye for now Eileen.

Supplies that used.

the covers I used a box. Cut to 5 by 10
For the pages I used mix media paper that I got from my local craft store, which I use 5 x 10

To cover the covers I used the same mix media paper I just cut 6 x 11 to wrap it around and using my scissors  cut the four corners so It will have less buck and wrap around the covers better.

To the cut the paper since it was not the size I needed I used my paper trimmer

I putted the holes for the book using my Cinch for the pages.

Since the covers seem to thick I used my big bite to punch in the rest of the holes for the binding.

For the binding I used a set I already had but you could google it, go to we are memory keepers site  or Bind it all

I used also double sided adhesives and creative station. I got mine from amazon.

A pen to mark the holes.

Mermaid vibes

I placed an order for a few new polishes that I just fell in love. I mainly really wanted to stamp and see how the shade named 9ml Green Duochrome Nail Stamping Polish Chameleon Lacquer Nail Art Plate Printing 001 from beauty big bang.  I can say that as a nail base color, applies well, and has fantastic color pay off.  Stamping so far I have to do some testing because I did a swap sticker to the bottles and the doesn't seem to show so well.

So the bottles on stamping polish came, and I was so excited. The colors both looking beautiful in the bottles.  Since I had some swap stickers that I bought from Maniology to, place them on the and stamped out the with a lace image. The swap me stickers are black and white. This is supposed to help with you see how a stamping polish will look on a light or dark color nail. I think this is a great idea wished more companies would add them.

I used a base coat on my nails. I think that I could have just painted my nails with one coat,…

Spring time Mani

So like most I am so excited for the warmer weather and beautiful spring colors. So far spring seems to be taking its time to get here. I have been somewhat inspired by the season to create a mani from the spring equinox sky which I found on google.  The image is of the night sky with stars swirling around in night sky. The colors look like to navy, purple, white and orange.
I tried a couple of different ways to all the colors, but I could make it work. I finally settled on adding a light blue since I was trying to turn this into a spring mani. A lot of the items that I used are from Maniology. So let's get into steps again I sorry no video for this post and few photos.

1)  You want to start with clean nails and then add a base coat. I used Maniology base coat, or sometimes I use  Sally Hansen quick dry base and top coat.

2) For some of the nails, I painted them with two coats of  Celestial  I wait for a bit and added Maniology speedy dry top coat.
The other nails I stamped …
